This blend is a stunning combination of Neroli, Jasmine and Sweet Orange essential oils & naturally extracted vanilla oil to comfort and soothe your emotions promoting a sense of well-being and blissful relaxation. We thought the name is just right, as the candle is a perfect blend to just snuggle down and relax with and if you are fortunate enough to have a whole room just dedicated for relaxing and chilling you may have called it ‘The Snug’ already.

THE STORY:-

THE SNUG A little secret that Lock & Latch never revealed at the time was that we made a bespoke secret blend for our son and his wife’s lockdown wedding in April 2021, they helped us choose the essential oils and create the blend. We called it ‘Eternal Flame’ a totally unique name, chosen by the brides father just for their special day, but….as we included a candle in this blend in the special guests zoom gift boxes, the response to the blend was overwhelming. Guests were asking if we would make more candles, when initially we said no that it was just for the wedding, a few guests stopped burning the candle as they loved the scent so much they didn’t want the candle be used up! So we have gained permission to release this blend…we can’t bring ourselves to call it by their wedding blend name, that’s just too unique to their special day, so now it will be called…’The Snug’.  

Our candles all use the highest amount of pure essential oils advised in soy wax (10%), creating not just wonderful spa-like aromas in your home or salon but therapeutic benefits too. 

New premium packaging:-Candles are carefully hand-poured in small batches into premium quality white glasses, with a complimentary silicone-free, silver lid.

These are luxuriously nestled into black velvet drawstring bags, which gently cushion the candles in their NEW luxury, textured rigid white boxes which will be finished with a blend label of your chosen blend. These boxes help protect your candles so much better during transportation to you. Plus if you carefully peel your blend label off they can be reused as gift boxes or around the home in numerous ways.

 LOCK & LATCH LUXURY AROMATHERAPY SOY CANDLE CARE

To ensure you have a long lasting, full fragranced therapeutic soy candle, please follow these instructions:-

AVOID DRAUGHTS and UNEVEN SURFACES

• Please burn on a level surface to prevent an uneven burn.
• We advise to burn your L&L candles in ventilated rooms but please AVOID using by draughts such as an open window or directly by a door for best results of an even burns.

CREATE A BURN MEMORY FOR FUTURE BETTER BURN

• We know it’s tempting when using a precious pure aromatherapy candle to want to use it a small amount each time, but when lighting a LOCK & LATCH pure aromatherapy soy candle for the first time, burn for 2-4hours.
• This will give you maximum fragrance and an even burn. If after this time of burning a little wax remains on the sides this should slowly melt away during subsequent burns.

TRIM THE WICK EACH BURN

• Always trim your wick to about 6-8mm before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimise soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick left from the previous burn. But be sure not to over trim your wick as you may not be able to re-light your candle.
• If you do not trim the wick regularly, if the candle is in a draft or is left to burn too long you may get a “mushroom” on the end of the wick which may cause some soot to collect on the inside of the glass. If this happens, extinguish your candle, wait for it to cool, wipe off soot with a clean damp cloth and re-light.

DO NOT BLOW OUT

• Extinguish your candle by using a snuffer over the flame. This will prevent soot build up to the sides of your glass.

NOTE ABOUT THE APPEARANCE

• Please remember the candles are hand poured in small batches, not massed produced in a factory by machines. Although all effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be unique and different.
• The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven & there may be some wax irregularities (such as bubbling or unevenness) after burning. this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
• Do not leave your candle in direct sunlight as it may turn a yellowy colour, this will not affect the candle.
•  We advise you use your L&L candle within 18 months of purchase.
• Cover your candle with its lid when not in use.
