Our candles all use the highest amount of pure essential oils advised in soy wax (10%), creating not just wonderful spa-like aromas in your home or salon but therapeutic benefits too. 

Candles are carefully hand-poured in small batches into premium quality concrete vessels, (due to the nature of this material and the vessels being handmade please allow for small imperfections, we think this just enhances the unique beauty of these candles) branded with a LOCK & LATCH pewter label, and accompanied with matching lids, each one is hand painted matte white.

 Blend No.5-FOREVER JUNE its the scent of a freshly cut bouquet of flowers but with all the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. It has been a carefully balanced blend of some of the most costly essential oils, Rose, Neroli and Jasmine being at its heart along with Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and a hint of pure, natural Vanilla oil. A truly decadent, highly scented (floral) blend to help you to relax, induce confidence, happiness and promote restful sleep amongst a host of other benefits, (Forever June is not aimed as an imitation scent, but as an incredible scented and therapeutic blend that stands by itself, although many customers remark how alike it is to Chanel No5).

Blend No.6-NEROLI CALM blend helps to create the sensation of a relaxing Spa by the careful balancing of the oils of Neroli, Bergamot, Lemongrass, Jasmine, Ginger and Cedarwood to help Calm, Uplift and Soothe your moods and emotions.

 LOCK & LATCH LUXURY AROMATHERAPY SOY CANDLE CARE

To ensure you have a long lasting, full fragranced therapeutic soy candle, please follow these instructions:-

CREATE A BURN MEMORY FOR FUTURE BETTER BURN

• When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container.
• This will give you maximum fragrance and an even burn. If you do not allow the wax to pool on the first burn you may get wax remaining along the sides of your container.

TRIM THE WICK EACH BURN

• Always trim your wick to about 6-8mm before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimise soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick left from the previous burn. But be sure not to over trim your wick as you may not be able to re-light your candle.
• If you do not trim the wick regularly, if the candle is in a draft or is left to burn too long you may get a “mushroom” on the end of the wick which may cause some soot to collect on the inside of the glass. If this happens, extinguish your candle, wait for it to cool, wipe off soot with a clean damp cloth and re-light.

DO NOT BLOW OUT

• Extinguish your candle by using a snuffer over the flame. Then use a dipper to quickly dip the extinguished wick in the melted wax pool, this help prevent the wick becoming brittle and snapping when trimming.
• Our 3-piece candle care set contains a Snuffer, a Dipper and a Trimmer in a choice of beautiful finishes.

NOTE ABOUT THE APPEARANCE

• Please remember the candles are hand poured in small batches, not massed produced in a factory by machines. Although all effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be unique and different.
• The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven & there may be some wax irregularities (such as bubbling or unevenness) after burning. this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
• Do not leave your candle in direct sunlight as it may turn a yellowy colour, this will not affect the candle.
